After the "Haiti - for clean drinking water" campaign, a group of Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Lucerne Water Tower decided to create the conditions for a long-term, responsible, and successful cooperation with the recognized Anglo-Rotarian sponsorship and its ingenious Water Survival Box aid package. Therefore, the idea of the association Water Survival Box Switzerland-Suisse-Svizzera was born; the association was founded with 40 individual and 2 collective members on 14 September 2017 in Lucerne. The WSB project is a great opportunity to serve in the field of disaster relief.
Its members are Rotarians and non-Rotarians who express a personal interest in Water Survival Box Switzerland's disaster relief activities and directly support their activities with their annual contributions.
Anchor clubs are Rotary clubs which join the association Water Survival Box, declare their disaster relief as an international project and donate boxes annually.
Promoters are Rotarians as well as non-Rotarians who are motivated and willing to actively promote and recommend the Water Survival Box Switzerland in their network and in their own Rotary club. To advertise for club members and anchor clubs as well as to recruit additional promoters is a very enriching and exciting task. For this purpose, convincing presentations, demo boxes, flyers etc. are provided.
