Governor Letter October 2019

Tuesday, October 1, 2019

Hanspeter Pfister, DG

Your governor received a nice cartoon during one of his club visits. Thank you very much for the cartoonist on behalf of RC Lenzburg.

On 24 October the already traditional World Polio Day will take place. The eradication of this terrible disease still requires a lot of money. Why don't you join us for a sparkling lunch or take part in the praline campaign? More information can be found here.

We want to communicate more actively in our district and tell people what Rotary is doing, locally and internationally. Rotarian life takes place in the clubs! Therefore, I ask you to send contributions and a high-resolution picture of your Rotary projects and special events to the new leader of our Information and PR Commission. Thank you very much.

Information and PR

The Rotaractors in Switzerland are looking for young people age 18 - 25. Do you know young people who are socially committed and would like to participate in Rotaract? Then report them to your local Rotaract club! For addresses, see Rotary Yearbook Members. In order to help Rotaract to have more children, we have realized a cinema commercial. Read more here.

HELP: So far, we have only 49 registrations for the annual youth exchange. Do you know of any interested parties aged 15.5 - 19? Then please report them to the Youth Exchange Switzerland Secretariat!  More information can be found here.
