In the reporting year 2023/24, more than 347 million USD worldwide was used for District and
Global Grants as well as PolioPlus. Many projects from our district have also benefited from the
generous support of the Foundation this year. It's important to note that 47.5% of the donations
collected in the district are made available to us after 3 years to support the funding of our own
district grants/projects.
We, therefore, strongly recommend that each club make a contribution
to the Foundation's Annual Fund, in keeping with the motto "Every
Rotarian Every Year." The target is 100 USD per Rotarian each year. This
contribution is also essential for the club's certification and thus also for
its qualification to apply for a District or Global Grant.
DRFCC Martin Wegmüller and I therefore kindly ask you to transfer your club's contribution
to the account of the Rotary Foundation Switzerland, with the note "EREY," by the end of
May 2026 at the latest. The attached QR code can be used for convenience.
Of course, we also welcome direct contributions to PolioPlus!
